my stock srt used to hit 15 psi no problem. now it seems like i cant even get it to hit 13 anymore. it now goes up to like 11 sometimes 12 if im lucky but idk it used to hit 15 whats going on?

 

the colder weather will show less boost. with the denser air not as much psi is needed to achieve the same power levels. it's the ecu being efficient.

 

Unless you did something to it right before the drop there's no reason for it except the weather, which as mentioned will change peak boost.

 

BOOOOOOST LEAK!!!!.go to srtforums.com and ask them how to make your own boost leak tester...its real easy...or you might find some help here too.I've got a leak on my bov righ now(stock), they tend to leak very easly, thats the reason why I dislike mopar bovs...also check every hose and use a ratchet and socket to tight'em up, screw drivers are no good, but don't give it to much or you'll brake the clamp.Hope this helps

 

no i did not change anything on thec ar yet its all stock. it seems like when i put in a fresh tank of gas is when i get the higher boost levels. all the hoses have been replaced and done by the dealer when i first got the car because when i had it some kid before me who had the car until 4k miles put on an aftermarket bov and messed up all the lines and i never got more then 5-6 psi. since replacing i could hit the higher numbers 12-15. just latly it seems like it wont get past 11. so ill double check them lines and if those are tight then hopeully its just the weather. thanks

 

ITS THE WEATHER!!!!!!!! its getting colder people and thats normal as long as u r getting past 10 psi u r good in cold weather.

 

it wouldn't hurt to check for boost leaks.I know friends who bought theirs out of the dealership and where leaking..they had a few miles on'em but leaks are very common with turbocharged engines...even more with stock srt-4s.

 

when the temp goes down, so will you psi
