Having Problems

what limitations....?!!i know guys who run 23psi on stock turbo...that doesn't mean you have to race everywhere you go boosting 23 psi....that's what boost controllers are for. These cars where made for racing...If S2 iswhere you wanna go, then good for you.I wouldn'tspend my money in none of those stages...waste of money. If you think about it wth is stage2...a wastegate, stage 1 injectors(04'&05' got'em)PCM, map and tip sensors and an intercooler water sprayer, and it's suppoust to give you 265hp that's with turbo toys...and costs about $1500.Why spend so much money when you can buy an AGP wastegate(150),Intercooler sprayer kit with NOS(300)..S-AFC(300), now thats about $700.But that's just me....every1 has their own choice

you're talking about power here. but there is a bit of a difference. the stages provide reliable power (for the most part). if you go the other way and try running 23 psi with nitrous i'm thinking i hope a friend brought his car with you to the track cuz you just might be riding back home with him.there are always waysof saving money but it does have its drawbacks. and if you say you're using just a couple shots of nitrous then your wasting your time cuz you wont beat a stage2 or 3. i've seen stagedneons win against other neons with spray as well by the way. i have a agp wga by the way with about 16 psi. i have a stage1 computer in my back seat waiting for installation(gift for christmas!!!
). and from what i'm told, it's a little more efficient to have a wga either way you go(stages or no stages). but like we all said, it's a matter of your own opinion. and don't take any offense redevil cuz i like your posts and writings manbut i think running high boost and nitrous on all stock internals is scary to even think about. build the engine first. now thats money!!!!
intercooler sprayer is way diff than a shot of nitrous....but that wasn't my point.I know a guy who runs 11.4 1/4 mile..he's got stage 3.Thats pertty damn good i think. He raced a friend of mine from a roll.My friend has AGP WGA,Intercoolers, HKS bov,NOS(i dunno how big his shot is).Well the guy with the stage 3 only pulled half a car on him .I wasn't there when they raced so i don't know if it's true or not.I personaly don't like nitrous and in the long run it will mess up your car.And no offence greenmachine i understand where ur coming.....goodreply bro!!
yeah my baby is still screwed up. i put it back stock with no mopar bov and now im still only getting areound 8 psi and i cant hear my turbo spoiling a lot louder..which anyone who has read my comments knows that im loving that, but still very concerned about the loss of boost. now i rigged a vaccum line and thought that might be the problem but yesterday i made a boost leak detector. when i was testing im finding that im losing air through the factory bov. but its not bowed out, its tight as can be......im out of ideas. i wish i never would have touched that damn thing!!!!
just a few typos in that last response.....maybe this will make more sense. i CAN hear it spoiling a lot louder like a whining noise. puts me in the mind of an alternator gone bad. oh yeah RED....i would love for you to be able to get your hands on my car too cause im stumped...
the diaphram probably ripped in the stock surge valve. you have two options, either get another one or get a bop and hard pipe w/bov. lots of people have stock surge valves lying around so just see if you can find one from someone
well i did find another one and thats the one thats leaking. i guess i could put mine back on and see how that works but im so sick of taking that damn thing apart. im to the point where im not sure that even hard pipes with a real bov would fix the problem. im thinking of just takin it to the dealer and telling them to fix it. they only wanted 60$ to put on the mopar bov so maybe i can let them put it on and then they think they screwed it up so they find the problem and i escape with just a 60$ bill. i know thats dirty but theyre a**holes anyway
look black toss that damn rice plate out ur window and buy a good bov with hard pipe like psichick suggested and some of your problems should go away.Sure man, I'll help you out anytime, stop by my shop, i'm here till 3:30...lol
