well im at the local video store with the misses picking out a flick. after she finally sees accepted is out and pulls me away from the video game section while i was in the middle ofcontemplating buying ghost recon vegas or just renting it i see it. . . . the black evo viii in the parking lot. we pay and go out to my car. the gentleman i am i always open the door for her as she gets in the car. when im walking around the car i see the owner. "hey." i said. . . . nothing. he just ignored megot in his car shut the door and backed up. i hopped in the sirt and followed him down the street. the way i figure is, we can do it the hard way(IGNORANCE!! LOL) or the easy way(talk car lingo, find a place to run and hit it!) well i catch up and pipe him. as im next to him we reach a stop light. ****!! i'm saying in my head while i tell my lady he'll kill me from a dig. the light turns green, i'm at his back door and my tires are not gripping!! i knew not to floor it but it seems like i had no traction at all(maybe i was just excited!!). second gear: wheel hop halfway through then finally my tires grip. i'm at his back bumper, back door, then his fender. third gear: i'm right next to him as soon as i shift, he's at my fender, front door, back door, my bumper. forth gear: it was OVER!!! I BEAT AN EVO FROM A DIG!! and the evo driver gave me a thumbs up. it was a true win. still have much love for those evo's and sti's though!!! just glad i picked the srt4 over em. . .
now i can watch her movie and play my games with a true smile!!


funny thing by the way. i'm more excited about beating a 4 banger evo than a V8 stang, camy, etc!! LOL

i never race from a dig without slicks because i will never take off!!!!! From a roll is where 90% of my kills come from.

 

not sure why, but i cant find a whole lot of races around my area. theres a bunch of hondas rolin around but those really arent much of a race. a lot of folks around here run VW's (golfs especially) and ive had the opportunity to match up with a couple of wolfsburgs jettas. theyre strong cars and in my opinion theyre beautiful cars, but i dont think ive ever lost to one or even feared that i might lose for that matter. i have had some pretty close calls though now that i think about it. how have yall done against subarus? i only raced one wrx and he pulled me by about a car, but come to find out he had it chipped and the computer reworked. also i was bein greedy and only runnin 89 octane = 11 psi.

 

were you from blksrt?? sounds like you're coming out of germany or something!! LOL what is a wolfsburg anyway?? is it like the srt4 version of the jetta or what?? thanks for the replies guys and gals!! has anyone else had any encounters with the infamous evo or sti????

 

a friend of mine had a wrx(not sti) and i completly murdered it from a roll. from a dig they jump but after the tires grip and the turbo spools up it's over. that's going in a straight line though!!! those cars are meant for more than straight lines!! like i put in a post i put up yesterday, i have much love for the sti's and evo's and even the regular wrx!!! awesome cars, but still bow down to the srt4!!!

 

im from the great state of alabama. yeah woolfsburg is the high performance jetta, golf...whatever VW. theyre strong cars but no match for the SRT. im gonna have to find me another subaru to redeem self i geuss

 

just lastnight i was going to a G35 meet up in chino hill with one of my buddy and his G35 crew. and since i had just doped in my stage 2 on. he wanted me to go and see if any would race me and since i have already smoked my buddies G35 a few times. He wanted me to give his buddies a try, so we are all driving on the 91fwy and this Z06 pulls up next to me. Having all of thies G35's and 350Z's he goes after me. It was a 03 by the way with borla exhaust he said. so we go at it on the freeway from a 20mph roll hard to belive but i was with him 2nd and 3rd gear. ****er beat me by maybe two cars maybe less, yea i got beat but think about it a $35,000 car big block v8 and me $16,000 4 cylinder. I was more then happy with the way my little srt4 ran lastnight.
