tire issue
my stock tires always seem to loose pressure. now i know the cold weather will allow that to happen. but its been like this for months. i bubble tested the tires for leaks, checked for nails etc. could not find a problem. i put my tires up to 32 psi, the next day or so they all with be down to 26-28 and stay there. this doesnt seem right? but its never been lower then 26psi. stock tires and rims. whats goin on? just buy new tires?
All FOUR tires are like that?? Never heard anything like that before, I could see maybe one defective rim or tire, but all four doing the same thing is against all odds. Are you sure someone isn't messing with your tires? Are the valvecores screwed in all the way?
I've had one flat in three years on my stock tires, but otherwise they hold up pretty well. Air pressure leaks have never been a problem.

my front tires are the ones that do it. so i rotated them to the rear, and moved the rears upfront and noticed it was happening again. and yes all four tires are doing it. i didnt think it made any sense either. im going to double check the cores tomorrow but as far as i knew those were tight too..so if they are still tight then i have no clue and my only option is getting new tires apparently. what do you guys normally have your tires set to (psi)?
my tires have actually been doing the same thing too. i set mine to 30 psi. but the front ones usually just start to loose pressure after a day or two. i was worried about it but my lady's buying me a whole new pair of shoes(rims and tires for you who don't know "rap" lingo! LOLkidding)for me! i don't know what to tell you man. do you drive it hard or go through some bad roads often? san antonio's road are sofa king messed up sometimes it seems like they're trying to mess up your tires and rims! good luck man
I keep mine at 37 psi for general use (lower if used for racing). I have a Discount Tire store right across the street from my condo, so they give me feebie air pressure checks /fill ups since I had them do the repair to the one tire that went flat.

I love the BFG's that are stock on my SRT-4, but I also hate them with a passion. They stick great in dry and wet conditions, but they are deadly in snow and ice. My other problem with them is that I've had more problems with them than all my previous cars' tires combined, I have had to replace 2 of them and the other 2 have multiple plugs in each of which 1 will need replacing under the road hazzard since I had to pull out 2 nails that were too close to the sidewall and i plugged it anyway just to keep the car on the road without using the uglyspare. They are so sticky that they pick up any and all nails or sharp objects that will flaten them.
The only thing besides the outside temperatures or a leak that will change the tire pressure is the tires temperature. I see people all the time check their tire pressure after driving for a while and they don't realize that their tire pressure willbe different since the tire is far warmer than the outside air. I guess they don't know that your supose to check the tire pressure cold and not after they've been heated up from driving which will lower the readings making them appear to be low when they in fact are not. One woman had her tires all screwed up, they were supose to be 35 psi and they were all different and very high ranging from 40-60 psi which can be very dangerous. You have to let a car sit for a while after driving to get an accurate reading, just like with checking the oil.
