i just got a short ram intake.. i was wondering what I should do with the vent that goes to the stock intake box...?? and do i need to have it tuned, like possibly the fuel/ air mix???
What kind of CAI did you buy ?
Just install a breather filter on the hose from the end of the valve cover that used to hook to the air box.
You got your OCC and have it hooked up ?
I got the AEM.. and i do have a CC hookep up from my pcv valve to the intake manifold.. but wouldnt oil blow through the breather if I put it on the valve cover??
Unlike the pcv side, the side the breather goes on does not blow any measurable amount of oil. I've had mine on for about 20k and all there is is a slight oil film...
Just hook a breather filter on the hose coming from the valve cover. You can disconnect the battery ground for 10 minutes to let the ecu re-learn the new setup if you want but it's probably not necessary. That is the only tuning needed. Disconnect the battery ground for 10 minutes.
