Default Need Help Choosing Exhaust

Ok soI was doing the research on anexhaust system.I need a full 3 inch exhaust cat or no cat to suit the stage 3 i'll be getting.I looked on the net to see if anyone posted their exhaust but didnt find too many. So I need help from you guys who have exhaust or have heard of others.I'd like a deep tone sound in my exhuast, loud but not too loud. I like the exhuast at Modern but I was wondering what else was out there and where can I look it up at?If any of you have any vids of an exhaust let me know.I'll be getting a 02 pipe also.

I like the mopar borla I had one on my acr . Most 3inch setups are custom so I would go to your local exhaust shop and see what they can do for you . Theres also places on srt forums for 3inch exhausts.

just about no one gets a custom 3" exhust. there are a ton on the market, why spend the money?

the mpx exhaust is cheap but sounds like crap imo. the best out there is the maxxfab or the perrin. the maxxfab is cheaper than the perrin, but both are nice. the perrin comes with a camaro-style muffler, and the maxxfab has an option for one i believe but doesn't come with it standard. you can also get the maxxfab with the option of a cat, the perrin doesn't have a cat. there are vids all over for those exhausts, search google video or you tube or something, they'll be there.

Maxxfab or Perrin, hmmmm I'll look those up. What site can I find these exhausts on?

Ok I found the Perrin on JSC and I have to admit, it sounds damn good and hell even cheaper than the MPX on Modern.It's very close to what I want the exhaust to sound like and it's turboback which gives it a big plus. Now I'm off to check out the Maxxfab, wherever that is.

I found the Maxxfab one also and some clips of it and I have to say this one sounds pretty good too. I like the single tip idea from Maxxfab but I'd rather keep the dual tip look. I wonder if I could get the single tips ordered on Maxxfab 3 in turbo back. Can anyone tell me whats up with the mufflers on both the Perrin and the Maxfab? Do they make the exhaust quiet? I'd rather let people know I'm coming down the street. And if I'm reading correctly on their sites, both exhausts can be ordered in full 3" turboback systems? I dont know which one to choose.

don't worry about being heard, both are pretty loud! the maxxfab is louder than the perrin though. maxxfab had planned on putting out a dual tip set up, not sure if he ever did that or not or what the status is. i can vouch for his systems though, i have a 3" tbe and his s3 o2 housing on my car and they've been great. so damn loud though that i need to get a resinator put on!!!!

If i was you should look into the 3inch maxxfab dp no cat or cat up to you. Then go with the 3inch catback side exit, i just got it done to mine and that **** is sick. I love the way it sound and trust me it catches peoples attention when they see the exhaust comming out of the side of the car. Look into it!

My Corsa just came in! it looks friggin awesome.
You can hear one here;
http://www.autoaddictions.com/

The Perrin and Maxxfab are almost identical. Both are turbo backs with a Magnaflow Camaro muffler.

The B&B is just like the Corsa.

There is now a Greddy exhaust with a large resonator that looks pretty good too.
