why would a four door sohc pullup thinking that he could win. so I rolled down my window and let him know that it takes more than rims and a muffler to beat me. he tells me I already beat a neon. that was the worst thing he could have said. when the light turned green I showed him it was not just a neon. when I looked back he turned cause I left him more than four blocks behind. well all I can say is that I told him so and I really love my car.

Unless they are really pissing you off or if your not in the mood to take any sh*t, then it's really not worth the time and effort (not that there was any effort involved). I have let several like that just go because they were a waste of time, but I've also had ones that either caught me at a bad time or just begged to hard for a beating and I couldn't resist. I really wanted to run a 240SX that was turbo intercooled and egging me on hard trying to get me to race him, but it was on New Years weekend with cops everywhere and it wasn't worth getting nailed for racing or doubled fines, so I resisted even though I rarely get anything worth a **** trying me like that. And by the way it looked by his throttle blasts, it would have been a fine victory for me.[:@]

I find it amusing and just take off like normal. Alot of times they'll be revving out to redline and bangin' gears like a mad-man and I'll be less than a car length behind them, just driving normal. Whats even better is when they look over at you with this smug "I beat you" smile at the next light. That's when you toast them; blow up their ego like a big baloon, and then just pop it (although I'll rarely do that even, who cares what they think, my car has nothing to prove to them).
