just buy the srt4.. my opinnion old neons are ugly!!! just what i think!

 

looks arent everything. 1st Gen w/ SRT swap is a great sleeper. to some thats more important

yes it would be the ultimate sleeper, and yes the 1st gen. are ugly....both of u have great points. still go finance a srt4. i promise u, u will be 100% happy with the decision, even if ur like me and can hardly afford to do anything else after payment & ins., u'll still have a badass ride! if u try to turbo a SOHC, i pomise ur note going to be happy with the results unless u have a about 6-7k$ to get everything just right. so lets say u do the whole set-up for 3k$. ive got a friend with an 03 srt, s1, intake, clutch, etc, etc....hes selling that car 4 11500$. so u put that 3k$ with 8k$ more (probab around 200$/month - 4 years) and youve got a fast, goodlooking srt4 (the real deal). u know it will last, u know it will b fast, and you KNOW youll b happy w/ it. just something 2 think about

Well its my first car and i've put money into it. All it needs is the speed and a body kit. Everything else is top notch, its won trophys already.

 

Also silverblack, its a 01 which means it looks like all the other neon just the lights are different
