Default map sensor

I put on a 255 fuel pump a couple days ago.I'm holding 15 psi in 2nd gear and all the rest is about 20psi.But I can't WOT shift because I get huge fuelcuts.Would it help if I get a s2 or s3 map sensor?I have a map clamp sitting at home but not too sure if I wanna go that way.

You don't want to just throw a S2 MAP sensor on there. In order to run the S2 MAP you need a way of modifying the MAP signal, aka a "Piggy Back" fuel computer like the D-Tec.

Your best bet would be to use the MAP-Clamp you have, or get a piggy-back fuel computer.

yeah but I've heard map clams are not very good, well in the long run.I'm planning on upgrading to a t3/t04 ball bearing 50 trim with supporting mods(dtec, cams, fmic and all that good stuff), maybe by september i 'll be ready. You think running with the map clamp for a few months would be ok?

If you get it tuned in right it should be fine. There are many people running map clamps without any problems
