fog light out
quick ? about our fog lights. 1st) type of bulb 2nd)whats the best bulb to swap out for upgrade & 3rd) do u need to take the front bumper off to change out? i was wanting to put mesh in my grill so i guess this would be a good time to take the whole thing off and just replace the bulbs while i have it off, but how hard is this to do?
now that we have established how hard this will be, can anyone tell me what size bulb i need and does anyone have any recommendations as to what would be a better looking bulb....id like to have the rainbow look or maybe just xenon blue....anyone know anything about these types of fog lights for out cars

well, it sounds crazy but i have heard of it being done:
replace the foglights with a yellow bulb
modify your headlights so that you have HID highs (being in the turn signal spot). rewire accordingly from the relay / HID kit. if you want to do this, itl look cool and be unique. however i wouldnt use your origional headlighs, i have seen a website of someone that actually does HID conversion on the *other* forum. but this might be a little more 'different'. since you would retain your stock high/low beam and also have HID on a separate switch. if you ask me this would look kickass... but quite a lot to do just for a burned out bulb, lol. ok, my little hijacking is over now.
i know sylvania makes bubls for our cars.
the stock 893s are 38 watts.
some similiar bulbs:
899=38 watts
885=50 watts
880=29 watts.
