he doesn't need d/r to be in the 13s...with those mods he should be allover the 13s.I have less mods than him and I'm running mid 13s with street tires....he just needs some more practice.

Last night, I typed in a long assed dissertation of how to get into the 13's and when I hit enter, the browser said it couldn't find the page and when I came back, it did not post. I was rather miffed and I will not do that long a post tonight.
So, long story short. I have run 13.68 at 103.5 with only a drop in filter, dogbones and 225 street tires. I have a couple of sub 2.0 60 ft times too.
Quick and dirty, my take is you are launching at too high an rpm and slipping the clutch too much and you are slow on the shifts and you are shifting at too high an rpm. Launch at 1700, get the clutch out immediately, control wheelspin with the gas pedal, shift1-2 at 5500 2-3 at 5700, 3-4 at 5700. Run 93 octane, clean air, oil, plugs, take all junk out of the car and adjust tires. My timeslip is posted. You can thank me later. Oh, and no boost leaks.

sounds like i need to go back to launching 101... im one of those clutch slipping fools.

and for those ghost posts that dissapear, when typing a long reply, i have learned that using the 'post reply' instead of the quick reply is safer, along with hitting CTRL + A then CTRL + C before hitting submit... just incase

What does hitting Ctrl+A do?
I know what Ctrl+C does. I use C and V all the time.
