bumper swap **updated with PICS**
im undecided on whether to go with 02 or 03 style but i want to swap out all my bumpercovers (and lights if giong with the 02)
my real question is, do i just need to buy the bumper cover or do i need to upgrade(downgrade) more besides just the bumper cover???
WTB: kansas city area
Looking to but an 03-05 dodge neon sxt bumper. sorry, im not trading my srt bumper, perfer PS2 silver in reasonably good condition.
i would also take an 02 but will need 00-02 lights, but i can find these elsewhere
thanks
pm or email thanks!!!
p.s. im NOT trading my SRT bumper, so please dont ask.

She looks like my old 01 now. Only took about2 1/2hours to complete the swap. im suprised it took so long as i even had my 4 year old son"helping" me, lol
Rear end with the wing (gotta love the winter wheels)

Without the wing

Had the bumper for a few days now, but I just got the taillights in the mail today!

Rear bumper and tail lights removed... poor baby!!! (and an old wax can to hold the screws, lol)

Closeup of the 'hole'. Had to reached into this one to get the dang third bolt holding the bumper cover on.

The 3 bolts that hold on the bumper on each side (plus the 4 visible right under the lid and 2 'push-in plastic thingies' underneath the car at the bottom of the bumper)

Just showing the difference in shape between the 00-02 and 03-05 style lights:

Quick shot of the new rear (note that ducttape was needed for the job)

My boy is showing off his hard work, he is a super helper!!!

Bringing sexy back:

Not very good, but its a night shot:

ill go back to advance auto where i took the other 2 and try to get it some nice pictures in the daylight so you can see the uglies on the bumper i need to get fixed up as its not perfect, i did get it off a salvage yard car ya know
the bumper kinda rests on the exhaust. so im either going to cut out small arches when i fix the bumper's other wounds or drill 2 small holes and 'tie' the bumper back to give at least 1/4" clearance so it dosent melt the bumper
there is also a wingless deck lid on the same car i got the bumper from, only needs a good buff. it is off a plymouth neon, so its got the plymouth badging on it. only 185 bucks for the trunklid. maybe ill think bout it this coming month

it's still a neon... funny enough though - try telling a Ford Mustang Cobra guy/gal that their car is "just a mustang" and see how mad they get... HA!
