well, I hate the way the a/f ones I've seen, all the flashing lights, perhaps I can get a gauge that doesn't flash every 2 seconds

no need for an EGT really if you have a wideband

well the one that flashes every 2 seconds is prob the best...you might wanna go with an auto meter one, wich is not as accurate as a wideband so its your choice buddy

flashing every couple seconds would drive me NUTS... just give me a gauge that has a modest backlight bright enough to read the gauge at night and a needle that moves back and forth. then im happy

I thought it would drive me nuts too but it really wasn't as bad asI thought I kinda like it. the change in the colors is like my own personal light show, informing me of my cars internal well being lol I got a few pics in my gallery you can see its not to bright, dimmer then the other gaugesI think!

Not sure about the AEM UEGO, but I know there is a way to tap the gauges into your dimmer switch. I too was caught a little off guard by the fluctuation fo the AEM UEGO. Found myslef watching it instead of the road for the first day I had it in. That was last Saturday and I am already used to it. It doesn't project light or anything like that. Lights up just enough to read what it is saying. Makes the autometer oil psi gauge look pretty boring though!

Yea I wasn't sure If you could tape into the dimmer on the AEM UEGO either, It says there LED lights so I thought that there would be no way for them to dim. They would either be on or off with depending on the amount of power the take to light, so I didn't even bother with it.ButI dunno that much about LED its just what I thought. Funny Plan B those are my feelings exactly!

I like the triple pod to alot easier to install and running the wiring not to bad. to much headaches trying to work underneath that pain in the *** dashboard.
