Default Stage 1 Fuel Question

I have 16psi holdingtill redline now with a stage 1 pcm. i was wondering if the pcm will automatically adjust the fuel? if so what is theoptimal psi setting i should pic? im guessing right where im at 16-17?
if that question makes any sense.

as long as you didnt take fuel control away from the PCM (such as installing a wga and mbc). then yes, your PCM will control fuel. The highest it can support is around 17 psi.

16 -17 is where I've been since I put mine on.

dusty did it make a difference? btw - iv been watchin the conversation on the thread about the wga. if all i have is a stage 1- and stage 2 wga and i have it set for 16-17psi. will i have ptb?

you will have ptb on any stock srt with an aftermarket wga
lol

it just comes with the territory of aftermarket wga's and small turbo's. I mean, look at PSI Chick's car. She's got the stage 3 turbo with the AGP stage 3 wga, and she's got a little ptb. Its not nearly as bad as other people with the stock turbo, but she's still got it.

yes thats fine. If you dont have a wideband, definitely get one. It will tell you if your supplying enough fuel to support the boost.

a wideband isnt cheap. i think they normally cost over $300. but if you search srtforums, you might be able to find one a little cheaper.
