if someone can give me some parts numbers for stage 2, i can verify the backorder length, or at least try to do so.

ok...i ran the PN, and unfortunately, because dodge tracks all of the nonsense about them keeping track of VINs and such, it wont let me even check availability on that kit. when i tried to check on it..it wanted VIN, mileage..so on...so bascially youre at the mercy of your home dealership...

have they given you any estimate?

Holy hell now im scared. I called my local dealer to get a price and est for the stage II looking at 1500$ for the parts and 900$ for the install. They told me 2 weeks to get the parts. Now the scary part. I asked him for giggles "this doesnt void the warrenty right". He said well if the stage II is found to be the cause of your failure then yes. Which i understand the warranty states something to that effect of a installed upgrade causes the failure no dice for you. Then he tells me "But we havent had an issues at all with them." "We did have an issue were someones turbo went out and they linked it to his AEM intake, and they did not fix his car."
First is that even possiable?
Second this now has me scared to do anything to my car, cause yes we have rights but it sounds like their going to find anything possiable to not fix your car.
I then had him transfer me to service for the install price. They put me on hold because he said he had to look it up because they had never done one. [sm=smiley5.gif][sm=smiley5.gif] Wait a sec didnt the salesmen just tell me they have never had a problem with one???? Now service is telling me they have never done one jesus![&:][&:][&:][&:]

the first rule of warranty work...when you take it in for the work...TAKE OFF EVERY AFTERMARKET PART, NO MATTER HOW MINOR. the smallest thing could conceivably be linked to any problem, so take everything off that the car didnt come with OEM! no matter what!!!
what they were saying is, once you buy this, it doesnt matter what goes wrong, youre paying to have it fixed....

tranny goes bad? or the clutch? it was due to the HP added by stage 2.
any engine problem regardless of the severity? caused by the new injectors...

radio or lighting problem? caused by the needed wiring route used for the turbo toys.

im not saying any of this has happened where i work, but dealerships DONT WANT to fix things for free. if they can find a single reason to make you pay, i guarantee they will. it sucks, but its the cost you pay.
