Yeh my friend tried telling me I shoulda gotten an SRT-4...

I agreed.. I told him I couldnt afford the insurance.. hes like.. why not? I said prolly cuz the turbo.. meanwhile hes saying it only has a supercharger..

so we argued and I let him feel he won..

The SRT has a turbo right?

uh, dude, no offense to you, but your bro's a dork- tell him to pick up any sport compact mag, turn to the inevitable article on the srt 4, and study a little bit before he argues the point again. ask him if he even knows what the difference btn the two are.

no, i'm just joking- i had a '96 2dr neon highline, and i loved it. it's actually what got me looking at the srt. i was drooling over this car a year before it came out.

 

Once I hit the good ol SSgt.. If i stay in... Ill be lookin at an SRT-4

course by then.. a better car will be out..

but im always late with whats cool..

 

The Dodge Neon SRT concept car was supercharged, but the actual production version, the SRT-4, is turbocharged and intercooled. If you want to really mess with him, tell him that it is both supercharged and turbocharged and see what he says then.[sm=icon_rofl.gif] Here is proof of your answer, what does it say right on the engine:

srt stands for 'street and racing technology'.... if I'm not mistaken

 

probally not that well considering superchargers dont give you much torque thats why almost every 4 or 6 comes with turbos not superchargers. the only 4 with a charger that i can think of is that stupid satern redline which i havent seen and dont really want too.
