Tell ya'all (hey Texans, I get that right?) what. I've got a six pack of your choice for anyone who gets the dealer to fix those swiitches so they light up Reason why is that they are not wired for it. The switch has the LED window becuase that's cheaper. But the wiring to light them up only goes to the drivers window switch.

And PC, I just swapped my tranny fluid for Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil, based on the recommendation I recieved from a friend who knows a senior engineer at NVG. It has not helped my ****ing at all. Next step (since the tranny fairies aren't likely to drop offf an 04 trans anytime soon) is to try that crossover adjustment. I'll let you know how that works.

they're not giving me a reason, that's the problem. basically what's happening is that they don't want to fix it because i'm modded, but they don't want to go through the hassle of actually saying that, so they write on the forms "can't duplicate complaint". i even went on a test drive with one of the mechanics and he told me that there was a problem with 2nd and 3rd, and that he would take care of it. went back to pick up the car, and written on the form was "can't duplicate". i called dcx and filed a complaint that they wouldn't address my issue, and were even lying to me about it, and all they said was to go to another dealer. i did that, and the other dealer, well, i got the feeling that they had never even seen an srt before and had no clue what the tranny was supposed to be like. so that didn't work. i was in for the tranny issue 5 times and nothing was done. i've basically accepted that dodge isn't going to fix it and i'm on my own, i've stopped trying.

hell i heard the other day that a dealership tried to void someone's warranty and deny work because they changed the shift ****. not the shifter, just the ****. and the problem was electrical. with that going around, there's no way in hell they're going to fix my problem. it not that bad really, i'm going to get a tranny from an 04, i can probably pick one up for around $900, and i'll get an lsd out of it too. plus it gives me an excuse to upgrade the clutch while i have it all apart

Whooops!!!!!!

Anyway, PC, I hear you. I plan on going with an 04 myself, when I find one cheap enough. If I could pull one off for $900, I would snap it up. Now the plan is to do it when the stock clutch goes. If I can snag one. On the plus side, with an 04 trans you get way more than just an LSD. That same contact tells me that NVG was given a $1 million budget to improve the 04 trans, NOT the LSD, this in addition to the LSD.

yeah, the passenger side window switch on the driver's door, the switch on the passenger door, and my sunroof switch do not light up. I'm not sure they're supposed to, as I've seen lots of other people say their exact same ones don't either.
My sunroof switch light works and my drivers side driver window switch light works, so your in the same boat as me except that your sunroof switch light doesn't work and mine does.[:@]

The manufacturer really doesnt want to pay for anything. So they'll try to find any excuse not to pay. If you have numerous modifications done to your car and something breaks that has nothing to do with your modifications, the dealer will try to link the problem to anything thats not oem. So what I wanted to know is what's normally defective on these cars before I modify mine.
