ok, where do i find the rules for how long/ number of posts before your pic shows up and your title under your name can be changed?

 

Pic shows up? You mean your avatar? There's no probationary period for your avatar as far as I know...I just joined and mine shows up from what I can see.

 

You can post an avatar whenever you like, just go to the "my profile" section at the top of the page. Your title changes automatically depending on the number of posts you have....

You can choose a default Avatar image (picture below your name on the left side of the screen) while setting up your account. You have to make 1 post before you can load a custom image like a picture of your truck or a graphic.

In order to setup a signature banner (picture below your post) you simply need to have it hosted somewhere and post the link/code to make it work.

The title under your name changes by default according to the post count. HansonHVAC posted the list and what it changes to.

If you make a small donation to the forum, like $10...you can choose to have a custom tag made PLUS you would receive a contributor banner that would appear under your name on the left hand side. If you look at my name, you'll see I have a contributor's tag, a Toys for Tots tag, and a custom name - "Admin of Stolen Property"

WOW! i think that is the most mods i have ever seen on one post! you guys rock. thanks for all the info and the welcomes! answered all my questions and maybe helped out some other noobs. someone gonna put this in an easy to find spot? maybe sticky it? i looked everywhere for this info and had to eventually post a question. thanks again.
