Been a Mopar nut most of my life. My wife and I are restoring a 79 Aspen 4-door grannymobile (12,000 original miles). My son is restoring a 1980 Aspen Special Value Coupe (rouch with mystery miles). Any ideas about where to get parts, etc. would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard. Gotta ask- with so few original miles, and looking as good as it seems in the picture, why are you restoring it? I'd leave it alone.... that qualifies as a true survivor!

Restore is probably the wrong word. We need to fix the grille a bit (one broken fin), replace one broken turn signal lens, do some spot touch up paint, remove a bit of rust from the trunk, and take care of some rust just above the rear bumper.

WELCOME!! Where did you get such a "virgin classic" like that?? That's super low miles and not much to fix...

That makes a lot more sense. The highest value cars in the hobby now are the true originals, and while some may argue that a 4 door Aspen isn't a highly desirable car, it's still only original once. Yours being so original with such low miles certainly qualifies as a survivor, and it only will increase both the appeal and the value. Fix what needs to be fixed, and don't mess with the rest! It's a great looking car, and one that should be preserved with a minimum of restoration work. Good luck with it!
