Glad I found this forum. I am the original owner of a '97 Ram CC 4x2 5.2L. I had the misfortune of losing my waterpump while traveling to a boy scout event. Fortunately, 1 of the other parents had a '97 Ram they had recently installed a water pump in. Boy was I lucky. He even had a buddy nearby that allowed us the use of his garage and tools. Install went without a hitch after we broke the fan nut free. Been a while since I have done any mechanical work on a vehicle. Got pumped about doing the work so now I am looking to see what else might need some attention.[sm=confused06.gif]
Steering has a bit of slop in it. Am going to climb under the front end and check out the pitmanand idler arms. (My buddy said he replaced those as well.)
