i am tring to keep my truck as factory as possible other than a few engine mod..lol..but what i am tring to do is black out all the chrome on them..the headlight, gril etc..they dont make a black out cover so i figure i could take the headlights out warm them up sand them down then paint them a dull black with a clear coat for protection..now the question, has anybody attemped this or knows how to do what i want to do ..if so please email me..i pulled all the letting off, painted them with a clear cloat worked great..which i kool cause a few guys wanted their trucks like mine..so i made a lil money off the side..if there is anybody who knows how to do this plz email me or send me a site i can look up
