Default new guy with a ram

Hi. Name's jerry. Just got my first Dodge truck. 97 Ram 1500. Traded a 97 Civic coupe for it. I've had several Honda's over the last few years, and finally decided to bump it up a notch. Annyway...I'm pleased with the truck. Mods so far are, K&N intake, Jet Performance chip, Flowmaster dual exhaust, and Rancho 9000's. AND, its got a one off sunroof, that doesn't leak! Needs a bit of work, but for the most part Its a pretty solid truck. Oh, and its got 210,000 miles on the original engine! lol.

Thanks guys! I like the truck. Just not the gas mileage so much...lol. Nah, I can live with it. Its fun to drive. And I haven't even done any off roading in it yet. Not sure if it can top my old ZJ though...

Unfortunately, yes you do. Whoever the previous owner got it from was the original owner. He painted the headliner, carpet, dash, and door panels black. and painted the dash parts chromillusion. I hate it! Paint is peeling everywhere. And, the headliner is sagging. Not because he pulled it out to paint, but because of the sunroof. He had to trim the ceiling foam, and now it doesn't adhere like it should. Kinda pisses me off, but I guess I'll get around to fixing it. lol.
