New guy with 98 SS/T
been looking at this site for a couple weeks. And figured i should sign up and pull my wieght
I picked up this truck for 5,000 last saturday. and it was the longest 2 days waiting to get a tag on her. lol
Ive beed trying to hunt down a good SS/t for some time in my area(Manhattan, Kansas). And this baby came up on craigslist. So I gave the guy a call and checked it out. The truck runs like a champ. and has a custom paint job on it. Just has a couple dings. and a cracked dash. like most do. I love this truck and was worth every minute getting my wife to let me buy it.

gonna mod it? or leave it alone. those are one of the trucks i lusted after for a long time, but could never find any used ones around where i used to live up in S.D. i can still recall a test drive i had in a brand new SST (blue w/ white stripes) and i was soooooooooooo hooked. Great looking truck ya got there. have fun keeping tires on her. 
oh, and that truck had WAYYYYYYYY more ***** than what i got now, but i would imagine it's my gearing that's killing it. (and no LSD/locker) lol

I'm gonna install a M1 intake, Larger TB, bigger cam, And Headers. And put a tune on it. The truck moves pretty good. And I have smoked the tires on it a couple times already!
I get a lot of people checking it out at the gas stations and stuff.

Its a VIS Racing Outlaw type 2 hood. The hood fits really good. I'm still trying to find some screens for the openings. Sadly they wasn't with the truck, when I bought it.
