RE: If Your A Newbie, Post And Int
What the heck! I'm new to this site, but certainly not new to forums. I spend most of my time on a Mustang board and a Texas Longhorn board.
I special ordered my 1996 Ram 1500 ext cab 4x4 in Sept of 1995, and took ownership of it on a spring break trip in early March 1995. I had big plans of lifts and tires and brushed tubular aluminum all around. But when I got it, I was like, damn....this is high enough!! So I've remained pretty much stock for the last 10-11 years. I ordered it with the 360 Magnum, and limited-slip/Dana 40/3.96 (I think) rear end, mud flaps, drop-in bed liner, bra (which didn't stay on long). I've since only added tint, a K&N air filter, and 285/75s tires (were BFG ATs now Cooper S/Ts which I love btw) on the stock rims.
Recently with the nasty weather, I've left the 2005 Mustang GT in the garage and have been driving the truck more. It's got me really missing driving the big blue Dodge. So now I'm considering some "enhancements" to the truck, much like I've been pondering and installing on the new 'Stang. I'm thinking of selling the Mustang, and returning the Truck to the daily driver. Maybe fix it up a little bit with a chip, CAI, exhaust, new paint, maybe even a Hemi R/T crate motor if that is possible. The other ace in the hole leading to this rash decision is the 1967 Fastback Mustang sitting in the barn. Today, I'm leaning toward selling the 2005 and redirecting my efforts toward the Truck and old Mustang. Who knows what I'll end up donig.
Anyway, that's my story. Look forward to learning more about what people are doing to these old trucks.

Just wanted to say Hello to everyone. I am a Dodge fan and currently own two Dodges. My 1997 Ram Sport 1500 4x4, red, regular cab, hood scoop, 360 engine, and my Black 2006 Charger SXT. I found this site while looking for information on changing the water pump on my truck. It is nice to have a group like this that helps out fellow Dodge owners. I look forward to the interesting forum subjects and meeting new friends.
Thanks for everything,
Willie

Well, as I said I am a huge Dodge fan and NASCAR fan. Went to the Talladega race and it was awesome. My favorite driver is Jimmie Johnson (I know he drives a Chevy). My son and I are both Kasey Kahne fans as well. My first Dodge was a 2000 Durango, then bought a 2002 Durango, then bought my 2006 Charger (love it). I recently bought my 1997 Ram Sport 4x4 to start modifing it for my son. He is 13 years old. I plan on tricking it out for him to drive when he is old enough, in the meantime I get to play with it. My hobbies are working out at the Gym, White water rafting, coaching my son's football team, and now working on the truck. The charger is good to go (for now). I like your picture... very sexy truck! Just kidding! you are hot too.

Hello I am new! I am also new to working on Dodge cars and carburation. I don't have a Dodge car, I have a Dodge 440 motor that I want to throw in a little Dodge car, possible a Daytona.
