I am a first time Dodge owner. I bought a 1999 Dodge 1500 from a friend of mine and I really love it. It is black and has all the trimmings. It has been good until today and it seems that the transmission won't shift correctly. It will stay in 1st gear way to long and then 2nd also to long. If I shift into netural and let the RPMs drop then put it back into drive it seems to work. I know you heard the story before. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Anyway I love these sites and all the fun and info you can get from them. Computers are great...
