Hopefully Monday or Tuesday it will be ready for us to pick up. They wouldn't let us take it home until that is fixed. We both really wanted to, too. The anticipation is gonna kill me.

I've met a few cars that did weird things from the factory, off the car hauler... a Concorde that had a Dodge steering Wheel emblem (wrong air bag cover)... wrong headlights in base model 300M's... horns honking intermittantly... Newbie here, Willie B, from WV...hey, is anyone else on the board from WV? Would have loved to have hit the recent WV Int'l Auto Show with another Dodge fan! Wife's not into it, and buddies are not car nuts.

As far as a discount goes, retail was $40,300 or so and we got it for just under $30,500 out the door. Including a 7/70 bumper to bumper warranty. Some may say warranties are a waste of money. I agree when you don't need them. But, when something happens and you have it, it usually pays for itself the first or second time you use it. That has been my experience with warranties.</P>
As soon as I get it home I will take pics and post them. Hopefully it won't be to cloudy when I take them. The color looks best in the sun.</P>
We took some friends to the dealer today to show them the truck. They liked it, too. We hadn't told our boys we had bought it yet so it was their first look at it as well. They were with my Mom while we were looking/buying. Didn't need the distraction.</P>

Nice pair of '69s you have there 6pkrunner. <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley20.gif border="0"> Your Charger looks a little like my dads, but his is not an R/T although it does have a nicely built 440. He also has a second '69 Charger, it is a 383 Magnum with the Hurst 4 speed.
