Hey All!
Just recently bought my second Dodge, a new Dodge Charger SRT8, nice ride so far. I traded in my 2004 Hemi GTX Truck. I like the Charger better........more giddup ya know. Anyways, I'm a 47 year old motorhead, been one since birth I guess........lol. My pride and joy is my 87 Buick GN (600 HP).............wait my first is my wife!!!...........lol. Anywho.......glad to be aboard. :-)

Hey Ya'll.

i found this place by chance, checked it out and figured i would like to contribute.
In my life I have only owned Jeep and Dodge vehicles. I have had 4 Jeeps and 3 Dodges.
Currently I own a 1992 Jeep Wrangler (bought new in 91) a 96 sohc 2d neon(got used in 2005. i couldnt pass it up as it is a cream puff!) and a 2000 neon(new in 99). all of these have 100k or more and i drive them all.

Hey all, I am VERY new here just actually joined a couple minutes ago. LOL Well, a little about me.......... I am 24 soon to be 25 (unfortunatly, makes me feel SOOO old lol). I am currently in the military and stationed in non other that Oahu, Hawaii. Most would love it but you can only be stuck on an island for so long. I was injured and currently am awaiting my MEB, which for those who dont know what that is, it is being medically retired from the military. I'm hoping to be able to get help as needed from this site, and I will thank you all in advance. I just sold my 94 Camaro RS and the next day bought the truck I have wanted for a LONG time and that was a Dodge Ram. I didnt get to get a new one but I got a good deal, I THINK?? A SFC had left the island and he sold me his 97 Dodge Ram 1500 for only 3000.00, he said no one else would buy it because the passenger window was off the track and wouldnt work. LOL that had to be the EASIEST fix Ive ever done on a vehicle, I just wish they would make a panel clip that you could use more than once......... And now that Ive introduced myself briefly I have a question to start with for everyone. Here in Hawaii Ive heard from many people its because of the heat but I dont know, my dashboard has cracked in at least 7-10 places. Is this normal for all Dodges?? Or is it just because we are always in the sun here and its pretty much allways warm?? And another question I have is when I shut the engine off and get out there is a noise comming from the engine that sounds like pressure being released?? Is that normal? And ONE last question so I dont pose to much of a burden on you all since this is my first post. The steering is pretty loose one it, is there a way to tighten it up at all or is it just because of its age and wear?? Just curious, and thanks all!!!
