I currently own a '95 Grand Caravan ES, which I bought new, that has 203K miles on the original, never worked on, motor and transmission...the vehicle does have the typical paint mange though.

I also own an almost new 2008 RAM 1500 SWB/Cab 2WD with the 4.7V8 and a 6 speed manual...the pic is in my profile.

Hello from a new (well, preowned) Dakota owner. Just picked up an 87 Dakota 4 by 4, with 140K miles on her. Seems to be in pretty good shape, minus a radio. The vinyl seat doesn't even have a rip in it. Be takin' her out in the mud to put her through her paces tomorrow. Just wanted to say hey, and looking forward to years of happy Dakota ownership.

Hello all,
Yes I am a newb, but am learning quick. I currently own a 1997 Dakota Sport with 318 5spd, and love to reduce the tread on my tires. The biggest reason I joined is because I am purchasing a 1999 Ram 1/2 ton 4x4 with 318 auto, and I need some serious answers. This truck is from a friend of mine and he has done a lot of work to it already. He just put a new trans and transfer case in it along with a lot of cosmetic parts. Anyways he said he blew up the motor and was going to get rid of it. He said the oil pump went out of it and the motor is junk, but it will run and he drove it home from the mechanics shop, making noise the whole way. I picked this truck up for $650 and I want to put another motor in it but don't know a lot about Mopars as in what will fit what. I have a couple motors in mind, one is a 92 318, one is a 94 318, and the last is my dakota 97 318. Now I really don't want to strip my Dakota yet, so I am leaning toward the others. I just want to use the short block of the others and install the top end of the 99 motor. Some people are saying yes you can do that and some are saying no. So just trying to figure it out. Anyways great site and I'm glad to be here.

Hi Dodgegirl19! I am dylyttle, and I have just purchased a 2005 Dodge Durango, which I am absolutely pleased with. I do have one problem, it seems that both of my fob's have stop working as keyless entry. Do you know anything about this. I intend on posting a message, but just thought I'd ask.

Thanks for the nice welcome!
