Default New from NY and looking for engine help!

New here from upstate ny i just got a 85 dodge diplomat 318 auto
83k original miles great body for northern car.
daily driver and liiking to build in to a sleeper
its got that electronic fuel sys lean burn ****?idk any ways id like to do a converson back to old school ignition and a old style carb.

My plans are 4bbl it/ electronic ignition/cam it/exhaust for now.
Any one have any hints to wake this 318 up woth out loads of cash?

Where in NY are you? I have a pair of rust free radiator brackets, two new u-joints (in boxes) and two new belts, from my old 84 5th Ave, if you want them there yours.

Im near Plattsburgh ny and yea interested its funny lol i was thining abt replacing my u-joints today as i noticed a vibration in the car Do you ship flat rate?

ok i need to know what i need to switch my car back to reg ignition and trash this electronic fuel ****.
I know i need a older 2bbl carb and a distributor with the 2 pin and vac from a dart or w/e but do i need a different coil?
i need a resistor 2 prong or 4? and what ecu do i need the 4 prong or the 5? i know they sell a kit but i cant afford that. ill be going to the junk yard in a few days(SOON) and would like to know what i need asap and does anyone know were to run the wiring? Thanks
