i have a 1995 dodge 2500 4x4. manual 4x4 shift. will not come out of 2 wheel drive at all. it appears that this is controlled by vacuum, coming from the top of the transfer case and down to the front axle housing on the right side of vehicle. i believe that the the actuators are no good. i had heard that there is a cable conversion for this, is this true? i only use this truck to plow. i am not looking to sink alot of money into this truck. please help. thanx.

What are you driving? Also note: This thread is almost five years old.... and the OP has three whole posts... My guess is, he ain't around any more.

In any event, do a google search for "posi-lok", as I do believe that is what you are looking for.
