Oooo, a 3.9 Ugh! 3.9's are pretty sluggish. I had a '97 3.9 and it seemed the truck was way too heavy for the engine to pull. At least you got wise and bought a 'Kota!

Welcome to Dodge Forum. The 3.9L is a decent little engine. Unfortunately, not much is available for performance. Kenne Belle used to offer a computer upgrade for them, but you might want to see if they are still doing them.
