1989 Dakota V6 owner. Now to get it running...
Hi there! I'm Bill. Owner of an 89 Dakota V6 and an 06 Jeep Commander.
Been looking around here for concise answers to questions, but haven't found any, so I registered and will post in the forum asking what to do.

I would look at the dist pick up and connection. Since the 3.9 doesn't have a timing belt. don't worry about a timing belt. You may want to see if you have a crank sensor.
