Default 2013 Dart question about MPG

I bought a Dodge Dart last week. So far I love everything about it except one thing, the gas mileage. I figured that I would be getting the lower-end milage extimate as it is my commuter car - say 30 MPG - but I'm not even getting close to that. Is there an economy setting I don't know about? When the light hits the dash and you can see all the un-lit idiot lights I see one that says "ECO", but it's not mentioned anywhere in the manual.

Any ideas?

Good question, I should have added that.

I have the 2.0 liter 6-speed automatic. (No turbo...)

Ok, I solved my own mystery. Unfortunately I did not buy the engine package that gets 29 city, 39 highway. I dug out the sticker and it plainly states 24 city, 34 highway.

Whoops. When I saw and sat in this car and played with all the toys I guess I forgot about that detail...

My fault entirely, though I wish the dealer would have said something. I told him I was looking for fuel economy.

True, it's not shabby. It compares well to other cars it's size with similar specs.

I'm loving the car so far...
