I have a 77 dated 400 with a 727 out of an rv the torque converter is timed to the engine but is it balanced to the crank? ive heard opinions both ways and i want to replace the converter but afraid to do so till i know more

The toqure converter could only bolt up to the flex plate/flywheel one way. The torque converter should already be balanced.
