New Dodge Journey AW RT gives only 10MPG
I bought a new Dodge Journey AWD RT ,a 7 seater .in August 2012.I have around 4000km on it as I just drive it to my work place in the city.I have monitored the fuel efficiency ,I never get more then 11MPG.
ON an average I drive 122km for every 31L.It also includes Highway miles.
Is it normal???
Dealership is asking me to wait until 18000km (first they said the break in was 7000km , next they changed it to 11000km ,now its 18000km).
I love the car but the fuel consumption is killing me.
My warranty gets over in another 3-4 months .
What should I do ?

Considering you are getting less than HALF of what it is rated for..... I am thinkin' something is certainly awry there. I would have a serious chat with the dealer.... and if you can't get satisfaction from them, trade it in somewhere else.
