Default 89 w150, 318 tbi. No spark, no fuel.

I'm new on here, but I am desperately looking for any help on this issue. Truck ran fine, but it was not moved for about 3 weeks. I did start the truck at least once a week, but now this problem. Also found out last night the trucks headlights are not working. Could it be a bad ground somewhere?

Does it crank?

Check the battery cables. (both ends.)

Welcome to DF!

Thanks for the welcome to DF. Yes it does crank. I replaced the cable ends to side mount, just because the store didn't have a top post battery. It ran fine after that. Is it possible that since I don't have headlights, the other problem is related to a bad ground somewhere?

These trucks were notorious for bad headlight switches, at least, the second gens were..... yours is a First Gen. Post up in that section, and I am quite sure the good folks there can help you see the light. (sorry, couldn't resist..... yes, I am weak willed.)

But I was wondering if a bad ground could be causing all the problems I'm having. Just seems weird that I have a no start condition along with no headlights
