While driving to work three weeks ago my truck sputtered out, died and wouldn't start back up. After a little troubleshooting we changed the fuel pump and everything was working fine. Two weeks later the truck had been running perfect and after driving it all day making multiple stops and restarts it would just crank and never fire up. We decided to change the crankshaft position sensor and still nothing. We hooked a code reader to it and it showed a low voltage code so i swapped the battery and it started right up. Ran fine for a couple days and then this morning it just cranked but never fired up. Then when I got home from work it started right up. Any advice is appreciated

I would need to know the year and model of your vehicle.

 

I am having the same issues with my 03.I have narrowed it down to the ignition switch.

 

Please state year, make, model of the vehicle you are referring to so we can point you to the proper technical section for assistance.

 

It's an 04 1500

 

Post in the 3rd gen ram section then, they will be able to help you there. Please include all pertinent information though, engine size, trans, 2/4wd, etc.
