Default 2000 ram 1500 5.9l

Bought the truck about 6 months ago in good condition, some problems that I'm handling as the come up. Been a fan of small trucks (Rangers) for years but this one come my way from a one owner. Got it because I need a big truck to do some hauling, construction, etc.

2000 RAM 1500 Laramie, 5.9L, 108K. Fun to drive should be fun to upgrade.

I read about the plenum problems and having a truck that's 15 years old suggest that the gasket's on borrowed time. Over the years have done the bolt-on stuff and replaced wheels, fluids, shocks, belts, plugs, etc. But the plenum is serious for one of my experience so I'll take HeyYou's advice and move over to the second gen ram section with an open wallet.

Take your time and read the entire plenum thread. It will answer any questions you might have about your plenum and related parts.

There is one question: how many six paks does it take to do a plenum?

Dont even think about that until its all buttoned up or you just may be going back in there. Now how many does it take to read the plenum thread is another story.
