Default Me and my transporter

Hello guys and girls

I'm new to this forum, I mainlly do forum for motorcycles at www.1000rr.com and www.1000rr.net

but since last year I've got this 1997 Dodge Dakota that i have been lookin for for a realy long time; it's a 4x4, 5 speed, extended cab and 6' bed for motorcycle transportation. this is what I found somewhere in NJ from an electrical contractor:

since then i have done some much needed work to the truck to bring it back to standards and to my taste. here are some of the must visible mods done so far:

Welcome to the site. Nice looking Dak you have there. It really looks nice with the rims. The old school pistol grip shifter is a nice touch too. I saw them do that on a episode of trucks but hadn't seen anyone actually do it.

Not bad! Those rims definately had to go. You know what would be cool is if you replaced the grill for a mesh grill or a chrome grill. Welcome aboard Wilson!

Thank you guys.. Viper, why should the rims go?

I'm actually thinking of repleasing the bumper for painted ones but not grill inserts; i don't like them because when it snows they will cover the intake of air to the engine.
