Wanted to introduce myself. My name is John I am retired and I drive a 2003 Ram 1500 Quad cab. Looking for some info on engine updates or swaps. I have a 4.7 in mine now and want to go bigger without a hemi if possible. Also would like street gears instead of tow. I don't tow trailers much so I need a happy medium with a little bit more on the horsepower. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hemi swap is going to be easiest for your truck, there are numerous threads of that nature in the 3rd gen section. Check 'em out.
