Default 727 transmission

Hi everyone.

I just picked up a used 360 engine to replace the one in a 87 plow truck I just bought that threw a rod. The engine came with a 727 transmission attached and they both came out of a 78 Dodge Magnum.

My question is, where is a good place to put the transmission up for sale? I doubt the average person is looking for one since its from the 70's.

I apologize if this is not the right place to ask.

Thanks for any help!

I never paid that much attention as I'm rather verbose to say the least.

Yeah, but, the vast majority of what you post is actually HELPFUL. You can be as verbose you like, and we will all just smile and applaud.

Like my tale about the bonfire? They weren't applauding.

They couldn't, they were laughing so hard it hurt, and they were holding their sides, no free hands to applaud.........

Thanks HeyYou.
Any rough idea what I should put for a price? I've tried looking up similar but all I can find is rebuild kits.

Was the donor vehicle running and driving when they were pulled? I'd put it on CL or Fakebook and offer it at $150, state what it came out of and let someone looking for it figure if it will interchange. If you get $100 you've cut your cost down by $100. Make sure the torque converter for it stays with it.
