Default présention d'un petit Fraçais / presentation of a little French

Hello the forum,

I came to you because I have a major overhaul to do on a 1997 Ram 1500 5.9l.

I don't have all the information. I will need your help, like any parts, please.

I am in France. I don’t speak English, sorry !! I am using a translator.

I am 54 years old, disabled for 25 years following a very serious motorcycle accident where I lost everything, my life etc. But I still have the passion for American cars to get away from it all, clear our minds and find the sin.

I've been driving a Corvette since that accident.

Thank you all in advance.

Have a good day.

Pat

Pat

Welcome to DF! English is the preferred language here, and your translator seems to do a better job than a lot of them I have seen. You want to be in the Second Gen Ram section. Folks there will be happy to help you out.

[/ QUOTE]Hello,

Thank you, thank you very much. I'll go to the correct section for the Ram. Have a nice Sunday

Your engine is descended from the LA engine and is a fairly common engine so parts should be available. The truck is new enough body parts should be available. I don't know how hard it will be to import parts into France. If you want to buy used parts, you can try sellers in Quebec Canada and Louisiana in the United States. Be aware that the French spoken in both places may be different from your home. You should be able to communicate, it just may seem odd. Especially the Cajun French spoken on Louisiana. I would not get used body parts from Canada because of the salt used to clear roads.

Actually he/she is doing a better job than a lot of the people here that speak it!

Thanks for the message, it's nice.
Engine side, it runs well. I just need the fluids and especially the good standards and viscosities that I have trouble finding in France.

However, yes, I need some new or used parts. I thank you for the vein. I will see if I find any forums, sites or sellers on Ebay.

Thank you very much, have a nice week
