Hello from Alberta! I am a first time owner of a 1st gen dodge. After having a few 2nd gens, I finally found a clean 1st gen and pulled the trigger last summer on "Moe". Truck is a 1982 W250, with the 318/Auto. Originally came from Sask from what I was told. Between the P.O and myself she has a rebuilt front end, suspension, rear end, lighting and some steering upgrades. Motor from what I can tell is stock, has a 4/5" lift, new ORB wheels and rubber, exhaust was swapped for dual mufflers dumped behind cab. Interior is mostly stock, has a super duty retrofit panel for all lighting, retro Bluetooth radio, and some small upgrades. Truck came with a sunroof (assuming its aftermarket), looks good and seals perfectly. Overall truck is in great shape, and runs like a top.

My winter plans are to install an upgraded brake setup, and then I would like to add a little more grunt. I was hoping someone may have some advice on a carb/intake combo that would suit the truck well, and add a little power. I have some long tubes going in this winter as well. I have looked online at Summit and other places, but I dont have any experience picking the proper intake and carb for a 318.

Looking forward to digging deeper into her this winter, and meeting some fellow owners. TIA!

Wow, that's in REALLY good shape for its age. Welcome to DF!

Wander on down to the first gen Ram section, and folks there will happily help you spend money.
