new dodge girl
hello all I am the (maybe) proud owner of a 2005 neon sxt. The reason i say maybe is becuase i have never owned a dodge before and i have heard some terrible things about them. the last 2 cars that i have had were Chevy camaros, but after years of problems and lack of funds i gave them up. I was told that i had to grow up (24 F) I dont want to grow up yet! but a four door car is quite a experience. I have never owned a four door car and my Yellow 85lb lab loves the extra room. I dont know if i am going to put any mods or anything on it, but then again you never know. well thanks for reading. Bye!

I purchased my Dodge SRT-4 in 2003. This is the first Dodge car I have ever owned. My car now has 46,000 miles on it. I have upgraded the car from stage 1, 2, now to Mopar Stage 3 with toys. The car has seen many trips down the 1/4 mile. I have had the car to the dealership ZERO times for a maint. problem!!!!! I also have zero rattles in the car. So far I am happy with the car. Re-sale value is not the best, but when I bought the car, it was the fastest production car for under 20 grand... Overall I'm very happy with my dodge purchase.

Welcome. I had a Neon, and it was a good car. And I have a 65lbs Sheppard mix and she had no problem with the room in the back seat. My experience with the Neon was good. Someone rear ended me real hard. Go to my Gallery and you will see the damage, but what I have to say about that it, yes it was totalled, but I came out fine besides sprain back and neck, I was still lucky just to have that. The car took the brunt.

Dodge makes quality vehicles. The only negative thing about them could be certain vehicles transmissions, which happens eventually on any vehicle and the ball joint issue on the Durango which was fixed. Congrats on your Neon and welcome to DF, they're great little cars. What color is it?

my first car was an 03 neon sxt(same generations). now being a 16 year old teenage boy i drove that thing very hard and it held its own. it was a very durable and reliable car. the only time i had to take it in was when a chipmunk got caught in the belt...
