so i found an '02 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 that i am considering sending my wife to buy for me as a gift when i come home on mid tour leave (currently deployed, mid-east). It's pretty basic, has the v8, but i'm not sure if it's 5.9 or what. Has a tape deck and no cd player which i thought was odd.
Anyway, i've never owned a dodge, but 2 buddies of mine over here do and they love them. It has low miles and a great price. If i got this truck it would deff. be lifted bigger wheels/tires and the whole nine yards. The think is I still want it to look like a "daily driver" but set up to hit the back trails during hunting season or when i get a wild hair for some mud on the tires.

I'll be searching the site for info on the mods i'd like to do but if anybody has any links to specific mods to this model truck that would be great.

hey neon, what do you do for AFSOC? at one time I was an 1A331 in the A.F. before I crossed over to the Army.
