ThatLambo has 40 more hp at 3K RPM higher than a Viper. But the Dodge has 72 more lbs of torque, sounds like a good race. My money is on 08 Viper in mostrolling races. The ¼ mile should go to the Italian.

Maybe that means the Viper has the most production torque of any naturally aspirated car. Don’t know for sure but Id like to find out.

Why are the other not "bonafide proven"? Im not trying to argue just curious...

The Saleen S7 has 750hp
The Ferrari Enzo has 650hp

or is that rating for N/A, that would count out the S7, and the Enzo is no longer in production.
You are absolutely correct my friend! I totally spaced the Enzo.....and yes...I was going for N/A HP numbers.....not turbo'd/supercharged motor numbers....

MG42Pillbox, in a rolling race....I'd agree the Viper would probably win in the short-term distance....couldnt be sure of the long-distance......however, for torque.....I'd have to ask about the 60's & 70's muscle cars who were never correctly dyno'd or tested.....such

Yea it doesnt seem like I can find anything to nail down the old rumors of underrating engines, I know they did it, but I dont know how much... (Bad Example) 1978 318 lists at 150hp... Then How could I drive to 110mph in a 5000lbs car... So I dont know for sure. I think the 64/71 Hemi Might have been 450+hp but not 500 like many say. If so great, but you never know until you get a good dyno.
