we rent quitea bit. we would rather rent a car for long car trips instead of putting the mileage on our cars. if we go anywhere more than 2 hours away, we get a rental. in the last year and a half, weve had a charger for about 5 or 6 weeks total. we had a grand cherokee for around a week, a magnum for about 2 weeks, and ive had a neon sxt several times.

the chargers are 2.7L models...a little birdie told me that a rental charger with the intake box removed and the spare pulled will run 17.25...

last time that i had a rental, it was for a little over a week, and i wanted a 300, but the *** clown who had it before me didnt bring it back in time, so i got a 2.7L charger. it was brand new. i find that i like the charger, but the arm rests are oddly positioned, especially for LONG drives. i believe that the 300 that i was supposed to have was a 3.5, so i was upset not to get it.

 

That explains that. The 2.7L has no business being offered in the LX cars, no power down low. Thankfully the Charger only has the 2.7L in the fleet models, but the 300 unfortuneatly has it in the base model. The 3.5L feels a lot better than what I was expecting in the Charger.

So how long ago was this?

 

every month or so...the last one was from christmas to the the 2nd or 3rd of january.

 

Okay, sodoes this mean that you would consider a Charger SRT-8 in case the Challenger is priced too high or is the 300C SRT-8still worth the extra money in your eyes?
