Default Airplane Fuel

I'm getting a job at the small airport here. Somebody told me I should get some fuel from the pumps there for the propeller planes and put it in my truck when I race. Is that a good idea?

Once in a while will be OK, but don't do it very often. I believe that the airplane/jet fuel is leaded still. Check out what the exact type of fuel it is and check it out online to see what it's properties are first. Leaded fuel will mess up the O2 sensor and plug up the catalytic converter.

Used to run 130 octane av. gas 35 or 40 years ago in circle track cars. The engine has to tuned on it to get the benifit of it.

I once added airplane fuel to my motorcycle, it was realy fast and the smell and color was different.

It was a Yamaha 600 FZR. Used to have a 25 galon barrel.

Was nice the throtel realy responded to it!
