desiels have a lot of torqe.. like i stated before my dads 00 come stock with 250hp with 500 lbstq add 100 hp and another 150 foot pounds of torqe and there yea go. it has a garret T61 or something i know i can put 4 fingers in the inlet so its a pretty dangerous turbo on it.

i forget what issue it was but last year when they had the silver lake platter thing in nevada a ford disiel beat the gto

 

I agree diesels can be fast, but gas still rules.

 

There is also an episode of Trucks on Spike TV where they installed a Banks Six Gun chip. It had six different performance levels and at the 6th level, the F-250 was just roasting the tires.

 

my dad has a superchips one i asked him .. it has 3 levels the 3rd is "race" and it gives him 110hp and 200ftlbs or tourqe. i thought it was 100hp and 150 tourqe but regardless i still ran a mid 14 in it at like high 80 low 90 mph range it was a a year or two ago i cant remeber so his f250 makes 360hp and 700lbs or torqe
