Hey Smooth_PuddinTell you what. Bring your 6 cylinder ford against my 6 cylinder dodge any day in race, tow, haul tug of war. Hell bring two vehicles you own for a good ol red neck tug of war. Don't worry I have plenty of straps. I use them to pull fords out all day. and if you are driving a ricer next to me and rev or have your music way too loud and your window down. Be prepared to eat 6 cylinders of diesel death.

scg sry but lol there is a faster car for $30,000 a car that no1 here has mentioned and is an import legend i kno even muscle car guys that would even kill to own one that the is a twin turbo toyota supra.. its a hell of alot harder to find than a wrx or evo but will blow the doors off of one any day .. im not gunna lie im gunna be straight up toyota supras are my favorite cars.. bcuz in my eyes they are about the fastest car ur gunna get that will still be street legal no1 since the 90's has made a car better than that supra.. unless u wanna count the event more rare and hard to find skyline .. but a built supra will smoke jus about anyone on this blog... and i would put money down on that .. u guys diss hondas and "ricers" and "fart cans" but ive seen sum crazy *** honda civic hatcbacks and sum crazy *** honda crxs.. ive seen vids of an all motor crx running 9's.. no turbo no s/c so u cant diss all hondas like u guys do.. hondas arent made to be fast like trucks arent made to be fast but you can make them fast you can make any car fast like sum1 on here previously said if u really wanted to you could make a geo metro haul *** if u took the time out to build it.. i jus think u guys need to quit dissiing imports and each other as much as u guys do..

I mostly agree w/ what you said, but here's the problem- I was referring to new cars. And it's still be hard to find a nice late-model Sapra turbo for less than 30K. Really hard. Most high-mileage 'driver cars' start at 35K, and they only go up from there. And trust me, I know the potential of Supras and the 2JZGTE. One of my friends has a 15th Anniversary black on tan Supra Turbo that he bought new in 1997. It has less 15K miles on it. Gorgeous car, looks showroom new. I also know a guy from Fargo w/ a built 2JZ in an older-model Probe that runs high 8's in the 1/4. So Supras are badass cars, I'll give 'em that. But as far as the statement of noone making a better car than the Supra...... I have to ask, are you familiar w/ the 2003-2004 SVT Cobra Mustang???? Supercharged dohc V8 rated at 390hp and 390tq. And they were severaly underrated. They make 370+ at the wheels stock. And w/ just simple bolt-ons, they are monsters. $1,500 can easily put you at 500+ whp. Stock internals can hold 800+. Prolly the easiest/best bang for buck street car EVER. And that's coming from someone who hates Mustangs. You can buy them all day long for under 30K.Hell, they were nicknamed 'Terminators' for Christ sake. That should give one a clue that they are no joke. There are also some other badass streetcars tuning wise. I'd also list the 3000GT VR4/Stealth TT, 300ZX TT, any and all LS1 cars. That mostly sums it up....... But nice posts though........

the mustang aint n the same class as the toyota supra is supra is is an import u cant compare and import to a muscle cars plus i dont care about ford i personally will never own one my gf is getting one as her first car and i am begging her to sell it cuz she will have nothing but problems w/ it she doesnt want car payments but i think that she should sell it and jus go ahead and pay car payments cuz tauruses are nothing but problems jus like any 90's fords..and if ur willing to drive or live in cali supras are all over check it out on autotrader.. i kno an svt can be a beast but supras are known to have 1200+ hp when the people that kno how to build it dude! i saw on a drag channel one day a fourbanger eclipse run a 6.5sec in quarter mile thats the fastest fourbanger ive seen it was a beast but i dont wanna kno how much was spent in the motor lol..i will prolly end up wit a fourbanger civic hatch that i will rebuild and stuff jus to make it my lil' toy lol litterly little but thats why hondas can be quick cuz they are so light it isnt funny lol specially civics and crxs.. thats for the compliments btw i hate it when ppl call all hondas and **** ricers its soo annoying im a honda and dodge guy all my vehicles will be honda and dodge i love em both it no truck is better than a dodge wit a cummins .. thats my own opinion.. its pretty beast.. but ppl act like since fourbangers are on average 1.6-2.0L's that they suck and cant be fast cuz the lil motors.. i admit nuttin sounds better(besides a supra wit a nice bov) than cubic inches with a nice exhaust

I see your point, but the Cobra and Supra are actually pretty similar. They're both front-engine, rwd. Their both 4 seat coupes. They were both their respective manufacters' halo car. They are both forced-inductio from the factory. They are both grand-tourers more than anything, but are best going in a straight-line. They got a lot in common. And while there are some obscene power Supras out there, SVT Cobras are probably more lethal on the street. They are faster from the factory, and dollar for dollar, will make more power than the Supra. Although Supras are prolly capable of making more power ultimately. Honestly, if I won the lottery, I'd have one of each in my garage. They're two of the most badass, potential-packing street cars ever made.

yea im not gunna lie supras and cobras r pretty beast on the quarter.. i'd own either or but would buy the supra first if that makes sense? i jus love imports for the most part... i like muscle cars too but i dont consider the newer ones muscle cars.. bcuz really anything above the 80s aint muscle .. in my own opinion of course i jus like imports better out of the newer stuff but trucks are my fav over an import if i got the money to buy a supra or a mustang... i would have me a 2500 4x4 wit a cummins sittin in my driveway also

Yeah, I went through the truck phase. I've had two '99 Dakota R/T's. One single cab, one extended cab. The first was mostly stock, the second one had full bolt-ons and heads/cam. It was afun truck, don't get me wrong. But the terrible gas mileage, ride (it was lowered), etc was too much. And besides, it was MUCH better for just showing off, than actually racing. After that, I bought a WS-6 TransAm, and I've been a car guy every since. I'd kinda like to have another R/T in the future though.......[&:]

yea im gunna have another car when we move when i go off to college im prolly gunna still live wit my rents so i dont have to pay for much and i'll have a project car and build it lol itll be nice when its done that way i can drive that.. the only reason i am selling my car bcuz it was the deal i had to make wit my mom help pay the truck off i took out the $6000 loan from my parents and they told me that i have to sell my accord and when i sell it all the money has to go towards paying off my truck.. if it were my choice i would keep the car and the truck lol
